The Talvis

We lucked out with the weather for the Talvi’s wintertime family portrait a couple weeks ago. It was a brilliantly sunny day when we met at the Kelley Farm and the light was so pretty. Little Audrey was adorable in her coat and hat. She made me work hard for these shots (as all two-year-olds must) but the work was worth it! Check out those beautiful baby blues.

Trisha and Enrique

There was a lot to love about Trisha and Enrique’s BIG wintertime wedding! (And I love wintertime weddings.) Trisha and Enrique were married at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Tacoma, with a reception following at the University of Puget Sound. (My alma mater- go loggers!)

We started off with formal portraits in the UPS chapel- a great indoor location when you need to photograph a bridal party of 31– that’s right, 31– on a cold and rainy November day. The ceremony was big, beautiful and poignant at St. Charles; I literally got the chills as the Trisha walked down the aisle to an amazingly loud organ playing the Bridal Chorus. Every girls’ dream!

The bridal party of 31 was joined by over 300 more guests at the University of Puget Sound’s newly remodeled Marshall Hall to celebrate. A huge mariachi band entertained everyone with great music, and dinner and drinks were provided by UPS catering. I enjoyed photographing every bit of this big day. Thank you to my assistant Jordan Wadsworth for the help, and some great shots.

Congratulations Trisha and Enrique!
